Two questions, is this date open? and would you be willing to do something for them like free tshirts or something? |

Posted on: Wednesday. March 09, 2005 By: Steve Manning Thanks for the great time on our fishing trip on 3/8/05. My son is still on cloud nine about the 372 lb Blue Marlin he hauled in! I cannot even brag about my 20 lb Mahi Mahi after he catches a monster like that. Mike and Nate were the best at showing us the ropes and keeping us novice fisherman happy. Thanks again and we will be back!
Posted on: Wednesday. January 05, 2005 By: Russell Ok first of all that was a compliment i was giving you guys.So you guys delete wat i wrote how professional you guys lost a few people on your charter cuz of how you guys charterd the trip I went with you guys i didnt recomend you guys to some people i know that was going down there to go fishing, ill state the stuff wat happend on the trip, 1.we came back early so some one could catch a flight (understandable) but you guys never told me till we were allready on the water 2.The guy who caught the only fish (a nice mahimahi) was the guy who had to leave so he let you guys keep the fish could've been a good charter and gave every budy alittle but that didnt happen.I had fun I must admit it was an awsome experience.
Posted on: Sunday. July 25, 2004 By: James Chatellier Looking forward to a trip with you soon. Thank you for the information to my wife on Saturday. May contact me at the address I gave.
Posted on: Saturday. May 08, 2004 By: Dick Porter I add my kudos to those of Paul Weese, below. The crew (Captain Mike, Brad, and MIke) was very friendly and most helpful. There was no doubt in my military mind that they wanted to catch fish every bit as much as we did. Whenever a fish hit, they jumped to their duties with alacrity. Everyone in our party that day caught fish, including mahi mahi and blue marlin, and enjoyed the experience tremendously. The price was certainly right. I would like to make one recommendation: explain, when the customers are signing up, that the boat keeps all fish over 100 lbs; don't wait until the boat leaves the harbor. This may well be the policy of all Hawaii charter boats but most first- timers are taken aback by the news. Mahalo for a great experience. CAPT Dick Porter, USN (ret), Hawaii Kai.
Posted on: Saturday. May 08, 2004 By: Paul Weese I would like to thank and commend the crew of the Maggie Joe for our trip on May 6, 2004. Capt. Mike and deckhands Brad and Mike were very friendly and informative on big game fishing. I have fished for salmon, albacore, rockfish on party boats and organized more than 40 days of charter fishing for big game in Mexico and would rate our trip among the top 5%. The boat and gear was in excellent condition and operated well. I was very happy to have caught my first Blue Marlin after many years of catching Striped Marlin in Cabo San Lucas. I would highly recommend them. Tight lines, Paul Weese

Posted on: Monday. February 26, 2001 By: albert Hello, I visited this website looking for pictures of Hawaii: like pretty one's of the ocean and beaches and the only pictures I found were of dead fish!! I think that killing animals is a horrible thing but after that you take pictures of it, thats very rude if you ask me! But I am wondering if you have any pretty pictures? Sincerely, ~aLbErT~
Response by : Hi Albert, Thanks for your concern. We have many beautiful pictures of Hawaii, there is not enough room to post them all. We are a sportfishing business, therefore it is our job to catch fish. The fish caught are not wasted, since ancient times they have been a main staple of the local diet in Hawaii. The fish we catch is consumed locally by restaurants or by our residents. Hawaii is well known as a source of fresh seafood, and boats based here provide the U.S. with a large percentage of fish consumed. Rest assured that we tag and release many fish. We include a photo of one of our tagged fish on the web site, and our boats tag more fish than the rest of the Kewalo fleet combined. Our captains have been recognized for their contribution to the study of migration patterns through recovered tags. Best Regards...

Posted on: Wednesday. November 22, 2000 By: Scott Robinson After looking at all these great pictures, you might think everybody brings home a ton of fish. Unfortunately, that is not always the case. I chartered the Maggie Joe for a full day with 7 buddies on Nov. 5, 2000. We hooked into 2 Marlin and 2 Mahi Mahi, but we lost all of them. We did get one Mahi to the boat, but lost it when the hook was pulled out of his mouth. Needless to say, we were disappointed. However, it was a very enjoyable experience. Capt Rick and Mike did their best to be helpful and entertaining (unlike some other crews I've chartered). This is something everybody should try.

Posted on: Monday. November 20, 2000 By: Chris Corbus HI! my name is Chris Corbus, I went fishing with the guys from the Mazel Tov about two years ago, I can honestly say I have never had that much fun fishing. The crew made it even better. The captain told us everything that was going on and there was never a boring moment. According to the captain we were having a bad day, but my dad and I were having the time of our life. I did catch a sailfish which made my day even better. We got it stuffed and it is sitting in my dads trophy room. I am lookin forward to seeing you guys this spring break. I really hope we can get the same crew because of the great time they dished out for us. SEE YA in the spring break of 2000 Chris Corbus
