Posted on: Monday. August 20, 2001 By: Jennifer Perlman I was wondering how often you put your pictures on your website in the photo album? I caught a 145 pound Blue marlin on August 4th, 2001 (Saturday) on the Maggie Joe and a girl took a digital picture of me and said that it would be put on the website. Will it eventually? Because I want to show it. Another question was if you have the measurements of the fish I caught, because I might want to get one mounted. Thanks! Jennifer Perlman

Posted on: Friday. January 05, 2001 By: Alan Nunokawa Hi Mike: Long time no see. I haven't been Hawaii deep sea fishing since I left Hawaii in 1983. Been a few times out of San Diego but its not the same. I will make a reservation with you folks later this year, probably in the summer when my wife and I come home to visit the Grand Kids. In the meantime, good fishing, good luck, and good health.

Posted on: Thursday. December 28, 2000 By: Rod Luper We plan to be in Hawaii the end of February. Can you tell me if this is a good time to fish? My husband Rod always wants to do something special on each trip and this time he'd like to catch a large fish. Do most people on your full day trip come home with something? (other than sun tan or motion sickness) Leah Luper

Posted on: Saturday. January 01, 2000 By: Ed Martin, Jr. On Sunday, Nov. 28th, my wife Tina, my son Russell, and I went out on the Maggie- Joe for a day of fishing. I can't begin to express my thanks. Rick devoted every minute to locating fish and making every attempt to get a strike. Eric was quick to respond to every order rigging and re-rigging. It was apparent, even to the untrained eye, that both Rick and Eric were professionals in every sense of the word. All of the equipment was meticulously cared for. Eric was great with Russell. He took extra time to explain the "food chain" in action and described exactly what we were doing at the time. Over 40 years ago, I visited Hawaii with my parents. Dad was a great fisherman (born and raised in Alaska) and a great teacher. I was able to charter a boat named the "Islander" captained by Bill Dotson, a retired Chief Quartermaster. We went out and caught some mahi-mahi. It was a day I will never forget. I can't remember the color of my bedroom or the cars my folks had at the time but I remember that day like it was yesterday. I lost my Dad in July and I have been flooded with great memories. So, in case you didn't guess, while Rick and Eric were fishing for fish, I was really fishing for a memory for my son. We were lucky. We caught five great mahi-mahi and we also landed a memory for my son that will be in his heart long after I am gone. The day was priceless. Thank you all. Tina, Russell and I would like to take this opportunity to say mahalo and wish all of you the warmest of holiday greetings. We hope your new year is a great one and brings you good health and happiness. Thanks to people like you, the Aloha Spirit is a part of each of us. Aloha & Mahalo, Ed, Tina, and Russell Martin
