Still the best adventure I have been on by far. I have two young sons now and we hope to make it back over in a couple of years to take them out too!! Mike and Arya of the SeaHawk for putting us on the fish. 3 Marlin and a Wahoo. 165 lb, 130 lb and 110 lb. It was a great experience and the captain and Arya were great. We caught over twenty fish, with the largest being a fifty pound mahi mahi. We all enjoyed eating some of our catch for dinner that night. Daryl and Mike were very friendly and are obviously great fishermen. I have some very nice pictures and videotape if anybody would like copies. Thanks again for a great time. My 5 mainland guest were "ecstatic" (we caught 11 Mahimahi and the only female angler was fortunate to battle and boat a 115 lbs. Ahi. Melissa's muscle ached all over the next day! When she returns to San Deigo, she will have a story to tell her friends. By the way, the Mahimahi fillets were cooked (hibachi) the next day. As they say in Hawaii, "Broke the mounth!!" Mahalo!! |
